Leaders can foster growth by asking powerful questions: How do you want to grow within the organization? What gives your job meaning? What support do you need to do your best work? What should the team do differently? Do you utilize your strengths daily?

As a coach, you empower others to anticipate and prevent crises using their own resources, making them heroes of their own journey.

Effective coaching isn't just about asking good questions but mastering the art of questionING, listening, and creating unique queries. Be responsive to each coachee.

The power of intention in communication: The same message delivered negatively vs. supportively can evoke different emotions and reactions.

Be mindful of the impact of your words on trust. Choose non-judgmental language that fosters partnership and respect to build stronger connections.

Break the pattern of negative feedback. Emphasize positive reinforcement by acknowledging and encouraging what works well in your team.

Unchecked power reduces empathy and compassion. Recognize your biases, seek feedback, and work to keep a psychologically safe space in your team.

"How are you?" Often gets automatic answers. To truly connect, ask again with sincerity and curiosity, inviting a deeper response. How ARE you?

Small words can make a big difference. "Thank you" at the end of a statement changes its tone from judgmental to appreciative. Be intentional with language!
