Zomm OUT to see details!

Great leaders shift perspectives, zooming in for details and out for strategy.

Having (executive) presence as a Leader means operating at different altitudes.

When you are close to the ground level, you notice your direct environment.

When you zoom out, you become aware of wider patterns.

When you zoom even further out, you begin to see the big picture.

💡 The Lightbulb Moment

When you zoom out, you don't see less detail; you see different detail. You are now able to perceive something that's just not available to you at those lower levels.

Every altitude has its own level of fidelity, detail and usefulness.

Are you operating at the right level?

Do you regularly zoom out and in to capture the needed detail from the levels affecting you?

Any coach-like leader always operates on multipel levels:

⚈ the detailed level of their current conversation

⚈ the higher level of seeing whether the conversation achieves its goal

⚈ the even higher level of seeing how this conversation fits into the bigger picture

A more zoomed out perspective is the comfortable 'default' of a coaching leader.

But we all have a personal, comfortable altitude to be aware of and manage.
