Spoiler Alert - NO one makes you angry!

Anger begins within—owning it builds emotional awareness and mature response.

We often say, "You made me angry!" But is that the full story?

Research suggests anger isn't injected by others. It sparks inside us – fueled by our thoughts and interpretations of events.

Blaming language escalates. Owning our feeling ("I felt angry when...") offers a different path, separating the emotion from the attack.

In my person view, "I felt angry when.." is a more mature version, compared to "you made me angry."

Understanding this internal trigger is powerful. It's the heart of emotional self-awareness and control – skills honed in professional coaching, often called 'maintaining presence.' It means recognizing our reaction and choosing how to proceed.
